What kind of bird feeder and feed should I get?

I live in Summerville, SC and I wanted to buy a bird feeder to feed birds (of course). Unfortunately, I don’t know what kind of birds are found here (hummingbirds, goldfinches, etc. )and what kind of feed to get. Any ideas?

Hummingbirds are fun, entertaining, full of energy and it’s easy to attract hummingbirds.
i live in pelion ,south Carolina and their are a wide variety of birds here over 400 have been recorded and since the wide variety i would get-

okay i didn’t ask for your comment; i put that because i know what types of birds are found in south Carolina not by just looking them up i see them almost everyday; oh and that’s why i put the links to some stuff i recommend.
You definitely have hummingbirds in SC. They are beautiful little birds and completely amazing to watch.Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly forward, backwards, upside down, and can hover in place. You need to buy several hummingbird feeders. Hummingbirds are territorial. It is a good idea to hang them out of sight of one another. You can make or buy nectar. It is helpful to hand red ribbons on the feeders to initially attract the hummingbirds. They have the largest brain of any bird for its size.So once they find the feeders, they will return to them year after year.

The answer is simple:
"Wild Bird Feed Mix" can be bought at Walmart for a cheep price. It is for broad range of birds. If you want to feed humming birds they don’t need the seeds. But a liquid sugar water mixture feeder. Search it on Google for the best type if you wish to get that type of feeder also. Make sure to get a liquid feeder for them that has a wasp screen. So hornets and wasps don’t move in because of the feeder. And you will find loads of birds flocking to your feeder.

Note: Make sure your feeder is located some where on the grass. The birds will leave droppings as they cumulate to the bird feeder.
